This no added sugar high protein mocha protein log with chocolate probiotic icing is packed with: Probiotics Prebiotic fibres Resistant starch Protein Calcium Magnesium Iodine, and Antioxidants It also can boast the claims: No added sugar Gluten free Grain free Low glycemic load Nut free And although not technically lactose free, because the lactose inside kefir is broken down by the bacteria present, many people who usually have an intolerance to lactose, can actually quite easily tolerate kefir. I have shared the exact ingredients I used, however if you just want to use the one cacao throughout the recipe, or want to turn the whole recipe from mocha to chocolate by using a similar chocolate protein powder that could of course work well too! As the heads up, it is very creamy and dense; it sits somewhere between being able to be broken into pieces and eaten with your hands to being able to be eaten with a spoon…so your call! No added sugar mocha protein log with chocolate probiotic icing No added sugar mocha protein log with chocolate probiotic icing, hemp and sacha inchi seeds Ingredients Mocha protein log: 2/3 cup MRM mocha vegan protein powder 1/3 cup Crio Bru cacao 1/3 cup Babushka Kefir natural kefir 2 tbsp Isowhey coconut oil 2 tbsp Vitafiber liquid prebiotic fibre sweetener (Australians can use a similar one ordered online from Progurt whilst Vitafiber isn’t available in Australia) 2 tsp Natural Evolution Foods green banana flour resistant starch 1 tsp Green Nutritionals vegan calcium powder No added sugar mocha protein log Chocolate probiotic icing: 1/3 cup MRM mocha vegan protein powder 1 tbsp Isowhey cacao 2 tsp Isowhey coconut oil 2 tbsp Vitafiber prebiotic fibre sweetener (Australians can use Progurt prebiotic liquid fibre instead until Vitafiber is available in Australia) 1/3 cup Babushka Kefir natural kefir No added sugar mocha protein log with chocolate probiotic icing Decorations: 2 tbsp Isowhey sacha inchi seeds 1 tbsp Hemp Foods Australia hemp seeds Method: Mocha protein log – Blitz all mocha protein log ingredients together in a blender or food processor (I use a Vitamix S30), and spoon the mixture into whichever mould you would like to set it in. Place in fridge for at least a couple of hours to solidify slightly. Icing – Mix all chocolate probiotic icing ingredients together on a low speed in your blender until a smooth paste has formed. Spoon mixture over mocha protein log, sprinkle with hemp seeds and sacha inchi seeds, and enjoy!
