Vegetarian BBQ Recipes

Hi everyone,

As many of us often have a hard time getting in all our veggies every day, I thought I would showcase some of the most nutritious yet delicious BBQ vegetable recipes in this post!

Vegetables are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre, phytochemicals, good carbohydrates, and as we all know, help protect us from a variety of diseases.

For example, cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, kale and cauliflower have anticancer effects because of their glucosinolates; dark leafy greens are rich in beta-carotene which aids our vision and enhances our immune system; lycopene in tomatoes is an antioxidant which provides us with protection against the harmful effect of free-radicals.

There are just so many health benefits in vegetables that we really can’t afford to miss them in our diets!
