Healthy Seaweed Recipes November 22, 2015 recipes, weight management Healthy Seaweed Recipes Hi everyone, After connecting with a wonderful new Australian company who is exclusively online and stocking only the highest quality organic and natural products – Super Supplement Store – I got them to send me a variety of products, of which some of my favourites were seaweed based (I have been thoroughly enjoying concocting with them, and will be sure to continue sharing my healthy creations over on my Instagram). Seaweed is becoming increasingly popular as a health food, and this is for good reason! Once considered no more than a slippery, slimy plant of the sea, it is now a very popular and nutritious food option. Seaweed is jam-packed with nutritious benefits such as antioxidants, calcium and a variety of vitamins to name only a few. One example are nori sheets which are absolutely jam packed with iodine which is extremely important for thyroxine production (this keeps our metabolism running strongly), whilst it is also is super rich in the antioxidant Vitamin A, and even provides significant amounts of Vitamin C in just a small serve. If you’re looking to jazz up your usual snacks, why not try a seaweed snack? Some seaweed snacks are super simple and quick to make, so they are a great last minute snack that you can quickly whip up the night before a busy day.
